Covid notification
One member notified us late last night (Friday 3rd June), and a second this morning (Saturday 4th June), that they've just tested positive for Covid. Whilst it's not certain they picked it up at the convention, we suggest everyone considers taking a LFT, just to be on the safe side.

Big thank you to everyone who put money in our charity collection tin in exchange for t-shirts or books.
We raised a total of £120 for the RNLI.

We would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who attended the convention and made it such a fantastic weekend, especially all of our wonderful programme participants.
Thank you also for adhering to our convention Covid Policy. We are delighted to report that, at the time of writing, we have had no reported cases of Covid-19. If you are unlucky enough to test positive in the next few days, we would be grateful if you could let us know at COVID19@seven.SatelliteX.org.uk so we can pass this information on to members (anonymised of course).

Save the Date for Satellite 8!
We are very much looking forward to welcoming members to Satellite 7 this weekend.
Meanwhile, we are delighted to announce that Satellite 8 will take place from 26th to 28th May 2023 in the Crown Plaza Hotel, Glasgow. We decided to avoid 2024 since there will hopefully be a much larger convention in the city that year!
Our Guest of Honour is prolific SF author Christopher Priest, and our Fan Guest of Honour is Michelle “Cuddles” Drayton-Harrold. Memberships will be available at Satellite 7 and thereafter on our website. For a limited introductory period, prices will be the same as for (advance) membership of Satellite 7.
