Kev F Sutherland has many years’ experience as a comic strip artist, contributing to publications including the Beano, Dr Who Magazine, and Viz. He has appeared as an expert on comic art on various TV programmes. His Comic Art Masterclass has introduced numerous adults and children to the joy of creating comic strips. Since 2020 he has produced three graphic novels – Findlay Macbeth, The Prince of Denmark Street, and The Midsummer Night’s Dream Team. He is a comedian and has produced several shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, but is perhaps best known as the genius behind (or perhaps more accurately under) the fabulous Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre.

Ken Gordon is the European Space Agency’s Space Solutions Business Ambassador for Scotland and Northern Ireland. For the last 15 years he has been helping organisations understand and apply for UK and EU funding. His previous experience includes managing design teams focussed on the aerospace, explosives, automotive and consumer sectors. In his spare time, he paints, makes podcasts, performs improvised comedy, and is learning Mandarin. Not in that order.

Adah Tole is a PhD student at the University of Strathclyde in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, currently working on satellite orbits and their design methodologies. She has tutored in Satellite dynamics and taught flight dynamics amongst other space related subjects.

Astrid Werkmeister is a teacher and researcher at the University of Strathclyde in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering. She is particularly interested in disaster management from satellite data, as well as any observations (atmospheric, climate, geological, archaeological, oceanographic etc.) that can be done via remote sensing from space or ground.
